"Doll""Doll" is about the suffocating experience of being shaped and controlled by someone who only loves an image of superficial perfection. The song traces a girl’s journey from being molded and dominated to finally breaking free and reclaiming her identity. “Doll” is about transformation: shedding the false skin someone else forced on you, and stepping into the authentic freedom of your own self.("Doll" is a finalist in the 2025 International Songwriting Competition and still contending in the 2025 editions of UKSC, ISC and the John Lennon Songwriting Competition.) |
